Teaching that connects students, practice and confidence
Inclusive, multilingual and HyFlex teaching built around community, participation and real-world practice.
Teaching built around participation, not passive attendance
Danielle’s teaching combines academic rigour with care, collaboration and professional relevance. In interpreting education, her work is shaped by a clear belief: students learn best when they are part of a strong learning community, not left to navigate complexity alone.
Across conference and public service interpreting, she has developed an approach that is multilingual, experiential and inclusive - connecting students with real professional contexts, flexible access and a stronger sense of confidence in who they are becoming.
Teaching in action
Danielle teaches conference and public service interpreting through live practice, structured reflection and real-world simulation.
Her students learn through multilingual mock conferences, synchronous virtual classes with international partners, and teaching designed for full participation across onsite and online modes. The focus is not only on technical skill, but on developing judgement, adaptability and confidence in practice.

A learning community, not just a course

Danielle’s teaching is built around community as much as curriculum. She has developed learning environments that connect applicants, current students, graduates, tutors and professionals, helping students build not only interpreting skills, but confidence, belonging and a stronger sense of professional identity.
The result is a more inclusive and collaborative space in a field that has often been competitive and fragmented.
International, professional, outward-facing
Danielle’s teaching is closely connected to the wider profession and to international practice. She has built long-standing partnerships with universities, institutions and employers, and has led virtual classes, masterclasses and collaborative activity across Europe and beyond.
This keeps teaching relevant, ambitious and closely linked to the world students are preparing to enter.
