Teaching
Danielle’s teaching and leadership focus on interpreter education, curriculum design, and fostering communities of practice within hybrid and HyFlex professional environments.

Danielle leads talks, workshops, and masterclasses focused on multilingual learning, interpreter education, and communities of practice, with a particular emphasis on technology-enhanced hybrid and HyFlex learning and innovation in higher education.
Consultancy
Danielle works with institutions and organisations on educational strategy, programme development, professional learning and practice-based innovation.
A collaborative approach to learning
Danielle’s work is grounded in the belief that meaningful learning is shaped through participation, collaboration and professional relevance. Across teaching, speaking and consultancy, she creates inclusive, multilingual environments that connect academic practice with real-world application. Her work brings together interpreting education, HyFlex pedagogy and communities of practice to widen access, strengthen participation and support professional growth.

Awarded National Teaching Fellowship by Advance HE in 2023.
HyFlex leadership
Danielle leads an MA Conference Interpreting programme described in her CV as the only programme worldwide operating through a fully synchronous HyFlex and distance learning model.
International reach
She built a transnational network for a hybrid/HyFlex interpreting practice across Europe, Asia and Africa, and has delivered masterclasses internationally.
Sustained student impact
Since 2008, 162 out of 360 students joined the Ambassadors Scheme, with participation rising from 45% to 65% since hybrid participation began in 2019.
